Blackhead Remover Guide

By

Blackheads, you know those unsightly black or dark yellowish spots on our faces, especially nose and chin. Well how do you remove them and what are any blackhead remover options. A little insight is necessary first because if you were like me you probably thought they were caused by dirt. I actually blamed the pollution in my city. Especially the dirty fumes coming out of cars and trucks. The fact is blackheads are not caused by dirt. They are caused by oils. Oil that your pores are unable to properly deal with or drain. The oil accumulates in the sabaceous glands and as a result Sebum forms and protrudes from your pores. Matters are made worse when Sebum oxidizes or becomes exposed to oxygen because this is when the darken and become obvious. The best blackhead remover might actually be prevention. Well prevention to some extent because literally everybody has blackheads but luckily they are not noticed unless you get a real close look. Some people do however have a lot of excess oil that their pores can't handle. This means larger accumulation of Sebum and bigger blackhead that is noticeable if someone is standing close to them. If you are in this situation then you are probably thinking about a blackhead remover tool. Blackheads can be a huge turn off because of people's perception of them that they are caused by bad hygiene. And admit it that last thing you want to do is explain to people that they are not due to poor hygiene but more or less of your pores failure to drain the oils. Blackhead removers might be effective but some common sense steps might help you avert developing large blackheads.

Before Using A Blackhead Remover Tool

The options for a blackhead remover tool vary and most are effective when the blackhead is protruding from the pores. If however the blackhead is stuck deep inside the pore then you will need to help loosen it. Steam is one way but your best option is to just let it rise by itself. Once the bump is a little noticeable then you can easily use a comedone extractor to unclog your pores. When ever you use a blackhead remover tool you must always exercise caution or otherwise you might damage your skin. And often times it can be permanent. Choosing the right tool can be tricky but a stainless steel blackhead remover tool would make a lot of sense as they are easier to sterilize and keep clean. There are spoon type extractors, fine loop extractors or a syringe for suction. Whatever the tool the most important thing to remember is hygiene. Bacteria can easily grow and spread inside pores so make sure you know what you are doing.

Blackhead Remover Gun - Effective Or Not

The blackhead remover gun claims to clean pores and I said claim because some many people are dissatisfied with these products, many even stating skin damage. It seems that the manual blackhead extractors have better reviews when it comes to unclogging pores. Perhaps you should order one with a money back guarantee, if you can find an offer. If they are confident that their product can remove blackheads then they shouldn't have anything to worry about. How many of us would return a product if it did what it was was advertised to do. If you decided to buy this product make sure you read all the reviews first. Often times the manufacturer will try to blame you by saying you haven't cleansed or exfoliated your pores good enough prior to using the blackhead remover gun.

Conclusion

Blackheads affect many people but some of us are more concerned and more conscious of them. There is a lot that we can do to prevent blackheads and that is probably the smartest thing to do. This will including regularly cleaning the face. Exfoliating the skin once in a while and basically making sure that our pores remain unclogged. The use of any blackhead remover comes with risks such as damaging your skin. Extracting blackheads requires gentleness and finesse because if done wrong the blackheads might get infected and turn it a pimple or worse and acne scar.

I totally agree about prevention being the best option. I have very oily skin but as long as I wash my face often I can usually keep it under control. But when all else fails I usually reach for my blackhead tool.

I have blackheads on my nose that are super deep, so there is no waiting til they rise. I just use an extractor after I take a hot shower.
